Daniel's Bar Mitzvah Project
-Ronald McDonald House-

For as long as Daniel can remember, the Ronald McDonald House has held a special place in his family’s heart.
His grandfather has always collected pop tabs to support the charity, and for many years Daniel and his siblings have donated their Halloween candy to the families staying there. On his very first visit to drop off candy, a kind volunteer gave Daniel and his siblings a tour and shared powerful stories about the families who rely on the House during some of the hardest moments of their lives. Those stories stayed with Daniel.
When it was time to choose his bar mitzvah project, supporting the Ronald McDonald House felt like the perfect and most meaningful choice. Along with donating all of his Halloween candy, Daniel has been spending time volunteering in any way that he can. He has baked cookies, delivered boxes of drinks and snacks for families to take with them to the hospital, and helped serve meals to the guests. Sometimes he has volunteered on his own, and other times he has been lucky to have a close friend by his side.
Daniel is grateful to the Ronald McDonald House for welcoming him and allowing him to give back to an organization that gives so much comfort, care, and hope to others.
